My 24 French PEG-J came with a clamp that would pop open at every little movement , and subsequently spilled bile and stomach contents everywhere regularly.
This clamp not only goes on easily without having to remove or replace any of the current hardware, it also reliably stays shut. I put it to the test for 48 hours before reviewing, and I seriously reccomend for leaky G/J/Peg/Peg-J feeding tubes on adults. This clamp is a bit too big for pediatric tubes, unfortunately.”

These small side load clamps to clamp a G-tube off are GREAT, easy to use, on & off, compared to the blue scissors clamp or blue V-clamp, which can also do the job. They are a little bigger than the typical infusion clamps, but the side load works in the G-tube very well. The blue units catch on clothing & cause a bulge under clothes. There is enough quantity for the money & they are good quality. I am hoping to continue to be well pleased over time during my illness requiring this G-tube using these side entry clamps.”
